Spray Shields

Safety Spray Shields are designed to prevent a catastrophe by temporarily containing hazardous leaks and sprays. Leaks can occur on piping systems conveying chemicals, high temperature fluids, and steam, which can harm workers, damage nearby equipment, and the environment.

FABRIC SPRAY SHIELDS

We can supply an extensive range of fabric spray shields including polyethylene, polypropylene, polyvinyl and PTFE products.

Polyethylene Spray Shields

Polyethylene spray shields are manufactured from transparent, reinforced polyethylene fabric in a reinforced multi-layered.

Polypropylene Spray Shields

Polypropylene spray shields are manufactured from solid woven polypropylene fabric in a multi-layered construction. Also available with FEP PTFE centre to allow visual inspection.

Polyvinyl Chloride PVC Spray Shields

PVC spray shields are manufactured from an orange coloured material as standard or in a Clear PVC material. They are also available in the orange PVC with a clear PVC centre strip.
This allows for complete visual inspection as would be the case for the Clear.

Standard PTFE Spray Shields

Standard PTFE spray shields are manufactured from PTFE coated glass cloth in a reinforced multi-layered construction.

Premium PTFE Spray Shields

Premium PTFE spray shield are manufactured from maximum PTFE content fabric for extreme service and long life. Contain a pH indicating patch which signals a leak by immediately changing colour towards red if acidic or towards green if an alkali.
The patch is replaceable which allows reuse of the shield.

Clear PTFE Spray Shields

Clear PTFE spray shields are manufactured from a combination of Premium PTFE and a clear FEP centre strip. This allows for complete visual inspection.

100% PTFE Spray Shields

100% PTFE spray shields are manufactured from pure PTFE cloth with PTFE thread and draw cord. Contains a pH indicating patch which signals a leak by immediately changing colour towards red if acidic or towards green if an alkali.
The patch is replaceable which allows reuse of the shield.

Premium PTFE Safety Spray Shields for Alumina Plants PT-O series

Custom designed Premium PTFE, series PT-O. Material to be of premium PTFE coated fibre glass fabric, 58% PTFE content, non-porous, tear resistant, UV resistant, fire-resistant.

Metal Spray Shields

Manufactured from 316 Stainless Steel they are offered in two configurations.

Style 1 which is a band type with a quick release latch and Style 2 which is manufactured with overlapping, slotted side edges to prevent lateral sprays. The style two is also available with PTFE drains.

The style 2 is also suitable for use on Ball Valves, Butterfly valves, Plug Valves, Check Valves, Gate Valve Bonnets and Globe Valve Bonnets.

Flange Band Protectors

Designed to cover flanges to protect flange faces, stud bolts, and gaskets from corrosion.

Keeps out moisture, chemicals, saltwater, acid rain, etc.

Keeps out foreign matter, which is critical on systems that are cathodically protected.

Nut and Bolt Caps

Designed to protect hex nuts and stud bolt ends from corrosion, thus allowing easy unbolting.

Eliminates need of a torch for nut removal.

Keeps out moisture, chemicals, salt spray, and paint build up.
