Glass Fibre Gasket Sheet

Glass fibre gasket sheet uses glass fibre reinforcement in place of aramid for sealing oxidising chemicals that would attack organic fibres. Chlorine, bleach, hydrogen peroxide, nitric acid, and other strong oxidisers rapidly degrade aramid and carbon fibre CNAF, making glass fibre the correct material choice for these services. We stock glass fibre CNAF grades from multiple manufacturers.

Available Grades

Brands we stock: Klinger, Donit Tesnit

Klingersil C4243

Glass fibre/NBR sheet for acid and oxidising service. Good resistance to nitric acid, chlorine, bleach, and hydrogen peroxide where aramid grades would rapidly deteriorate.

Klingersil C4500

Glass fibre/NBR sheet specifically formulated for strong oxidising media. Enhanced resistance to chlorine, bromine, and concentrated oxidising acids.

Tesnit BA-GL

Glass fibre CNAF from Donit for oxidising media service. Resistant to chlorine, bleach, hydrogen peroxide, and other strong oxidisers that degrade aramid and carbon fibre grades.

Silicone-Coated Glass Fibre Cloth

Woven glass fibre fabric with a silicone elastomer coating on one or both sides. Used as heat shields, welding curtains, expansion joint wrapping, and high-temperature sealing gaskets where a flexible, conformable fabric is needed rather than rigid CNAF sheet. Continuous service to approximately 260 °C (silicone coating limit).
