Anti-Corrosion Coatings & Wraps
Corrosion doesn't wait for the next shutdown. We carry elastomeric coatings, petrolatum wrapping systems, shrink sleeves, and corrosion-inhibiting compounds for flanges, bolting, and exposed piping. In our experience, CUI on insulated steam lines is the one people spot six months after the real damage started. Most of these can be applied in situ, though surface prep matters, especially under insulation.
Types & Variants
Flange Encapsulation
Elastomeric coatings and shrink-fit covers that seal over flanges to exclude moisture, salt spray, and contaminants.
Petrolatum Wrapping
Petrolatum-saturated tapes and mastics for wrapping bolts, flanges, and irregular shapes. Long-term corrosion prevention.
Corrosion-Inhibiting Compounds
Grease-based compounds applied to bolt threads and flange faces to prevent seizure and corrosion between maintenance intervals.
Bolt Protection Caps
Plastic caps filled with anti-corrosion compound that snap over exposed bolt ends and nuts.
