Acetal / Delrin

Acetal is a high-performance engineering thermoplastic offering outstanding strength, stiffness, and low-friction properties. We stock acetal sheet in natural (white) and black from 1–100 mm thicknesses, making it our go-to recommendation for precision-machined wear components, bushings, and gears.

Available Grades

Brands we stock: Delrin, Sustarin

Acetal Natural (Homopolymer)

Natural (white) homopolymer acetal sheet: the classic Delrin-type grade. Offers the highest mechanical strength and stiffness of all acetal variants. Our most popular grade for machined components.

Acetal Black (Homopolymer)

Black-pigmented homopolymer acetal with identical mechanical properties to the natural grade. UV-stabilised for improved performance in light-exposed applications.

Acetal Copolymer

Copolymer acetal offering improved chemical resistance and better dimensional stability in hot-water or steam-contact environments compared to homopolymer grades.
