PA6 / PA66 — Polyamide
Nylon
Nylon is one of the most widely used engineering thermoplastics, valued for its exceptional toughness, wear resistance, and ease of machining. We stock nylon sheet in natural and black across an extensive thickness range, including filled Nylatron grades for demanding bearing and structural applications.

Available Grades
Brands we stock: Nylatron, Ertalon
Nylon 6 Natural
General-purpose extruded nylon 6 in natural off-white. Good balance of strength, toughness, and machinability. Our highest-volume nylon grade for industrial wear components and machined parts.
Nylon 6 Black
Black-pigmented nylon 6 with improved UV stability and identical mechanical properties to the natural grade. Preferred for outdoor or light-exposed applications.
Nylon 66
Higher-performance polyamide with improved heat resistance, stiffness, and strength compared to nylon 6. Suited to applications requiring tighter tolerances and better creep resistance.
Nylatron GSM (MoS2 Filled)
Molybdenum disulphide filled nylon offering significantly lower friction and improved wear life compared to unfilled grades. Ideal for unlubricated bearing and sliding applications.
Nylatron GS (Glass Filled)
Glass fibre reinforced nylon with higher stiffness, strength, and dimensional stability than unfilled grades. Used in structural and load-bearing applications where deflection must be minimised.
