Available Grades

Brands we stock: Tufnol

NEMA X

Standard paper phenolic grade with good electrical insulation properties and excellent machinability. Suitable for general-purpose insulation where mechanical loading is minimal.

NEMA XX

Intermediate-grade paper phenolic with improved flexural strength and better moisture resistance than Grade X. Our most popular phenolic paper grade for terminal boards and general insulation.

NEMA XXX

Premium paper phenolic grade offering the best electrical properties in the paper-base range, including lower dielectric loss and improved insulation resistance. Preferred for higher-voltage applications.

Leatheroid (Vegetable-Tanned Fibre)

Thin, flexible cellulose fibre sheet produced from vegetable-tanned materials. Available from 0.25 mm to 0.8 mm thickness. Good dielectric properties with excellent flexibility for wrapping, forming, and slot insulation where conformability is required.
